We welcome riders of all abilities—beginners to advanced—provided they bring a spirit of adventure and a sporty attitude. If you’re newer to off-road riding we’re happy to offer extra coaching to help you tackle every trail with confidence.

Daily Distances

Rides typically cover 150–300 kilometres per day, with varied terrain that includes gravel roads, dirt trails, and mountain passes.

"Just wrapped up a 12-day adventure... and wow, what an experience! Our base in Gowan Valley was excellent... But of course, the main focus was the riding. Charlie quickly figured out our skill levels, then pushed them a little bit further each day. Charlie kept us right at the edge of our comfort zone — never too much, but always enough to make it exciting. One word of advice: a “gravel road” in Dustrails Africa terms... is closer to Enduro! But Charlie adjusts the route and difficulty level perfectly to your experience and mindset. We rode through breathtaking landscapes... South Africa (and Lesotho) are stunning... We didn’t have a single unpleasant experience."
