Frequently Asked Questions
At Dust Trails Africa, we strive to provide comprehensive information to ensure your adventure is seamless and enjoyable. Here are some frequently asked questions:
What types of accommodations can I expect during the tours?
Across the regions we ride from Lesotho to Eswatini and Mozambique. The varied accommodation is part of the experience. In Lesotho, you’ll stay in authentic rondavel huts as well as comfortable lodges, while on our Rhodes trips we use quality 3+ star lodges. Further afield in Eswatini and Mozambique, you can expect a mix of handpicked guesthouses, bush lodges, and coastal stays that reflect the character of each area.
We’ve personally vetted every stop to ensure it meets the feel and standard of our trips. All are motorcycle-friendly, well located, and the best available in the areas we travel through.
Do you accommodate pillion passengers?
For safety and comfort, we do not cater to pillion passengers. Each rider operates their own motorcycle to effectively navigate the terrain.
Are vegan or vegetarian meal options available in Lesotho?
Will I receive photos from the trip?
Absolutely! We share all photos and videos taken during the trip, allowing you to relive and share your adventure.
What motorcycles do you provide?
We exclusively use the Honda CRF300L, chosen for its reliability and suitability for the terrains we explore.
