What types of accommodations can I expect during the tours?

In Lesotho, you’ll experience authentic African stays in traditional rondavel huts as well as comfortable lodges. On our Rhodes trips, accommodations are in +3-star lodges. We’ve personally vetted all accommodations to ensure they meet the unique feel and standards of our trips. They are all MC friendly and the best in the area.

For safety and comfort, we do not cater to pillion passengers. Each rider operates their own motorcycle to effectively navigate the terrain.

Due to the remote locations we visit in Lesotho, we regret that we cannot guarantee vegan or vegetarian meal options. However, we strive to accommodate other dietary preferences when possible; please inform us in advance. 

Absolutely! We share all photos taken during the trip, allowing you to relive and share your adventure. 

We exclusively use the Honda CRF300L, chosen for its reliability and suitability for the terrains we explore. 

Absolutely!  We are happy to tailor trips to suit your preferences, including any multi-day tour option that is not currently advertised on our website or Facebook page

At the start of each trip, we assess your skill level and we can adjust the itinerary to match your abilities and ambitions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. If you are unsure if a trip is for you contact Charlie for a chat. We will do our best to accomodate you and make our adventure memorable.

Weather can lead to changes in plans. We prioritize safety above all else and will adjust the itinerary as necessary to ensure your well-being.

Our guides are first aid certified, and we carry GPS and satellite communication devices to call for assistance if needed. Additionally, our guide is a trained motorcycle mechanic, and we carry tools to handle any on-the-spot repairs.

All bikes are thoroughly serviced before each trip to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Mobile phone coverage can be unreliable in some areas we visit. If you have a Garmin GPS with InReach, or similar, we recommend bringing it along.

Yes, we provide a map of the area for your trip, allowing you to recount your journey and share it with others.

Yes, we aim to have merchandise available for purchase, allowing you to take a piece of the adventure home with you.

We support local businesses in the areas we ride through and strive to leave nothing but tire marks. All garbage is properly disposed of, and we expect our riders to share our commitment to environmental care.

We are always courteous to locals, showing them the respect they deserve. We stop and allow livestock to pass, turning off our engines to minimize disturbance.

In Lesotho, you’ll carry all your personal belongings with you. On Rhodes trips, we can arrange to leave certain items at the hotel for the days we will return.

Certainly! We can arrange for you to stay additional days before or after your tour. While we cannot book flights for you, we are happy to assist with recommendations for accommodations and activities during your extended stay.

We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure your spot for the tour, and the remaining 50% to be paid no less than one month before departure.

A fully refundable security deposit is required. You will be refunded the full amount after the trip is complete. However, if the bike has any damage or needs repairs from the trip, then the cost of the repairs will be deducted from your security deposit, and the balance then refunded to you.

Yes, you must have a valid motorcycle driver’s license and passport to participate in our tours.

Yes, you must have appropriate travel and medical insurance that covers motorcycle riding for the duration of the tour.

We will pick you up at the airport. Please provide us with your flight details in advance so we can coordinate your transfer.

If your partner does not ride, we are happy to suggest places to visit and activities they can enjoy while you’re out riding.
